    Description

    Frosted Chicken Celery OMN No. 76 AKA Chick, Chicken. Non-flint. Riverside Glass Works, Wellsburg, WV. Late 1880.
    The glass is clear and any colors you see in the photographs are reflections from indoors where I photographed the piece. There are lovely bubbles, straw marks, and glass is wavy, two-part mold. Color and clarity are fine and normal for this pattern. There is a small milky spot in bottom, I am not sure if this is a bruise or an imperfection. It does not go through to the bottom and could be a piece of undissolved mix or bubble. It is internal and I cannot feel anything from the inside or the outside. This does not mar the beauty of this piece.
