    Estate sale find, vintage original promotional material, Northwestern Fur Company, Omaha, Nebraska, Furriers Tanners.
    Incorporated by J.W. Elwood, Paul F. Greve and R.H. Smith in 1903, the Northwestern School of Taxidermy was located at 1202 Howard Street, Omaha, Nebraska.
    The mail order correspondence courses taught lessons in removing and treating all kinds of hides and mounting of animal specimens.  The school also sold taxidermy supplies.  The school closed down in the early 1980s.
